Christensen, this is the 16<sup>th<\/sup> year Coast Central has been honored to receive the Best Credit Union award, and the 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0year receiving Best Place to Get a Loan. Christensen said, \u201cWe are committed to providing our members with quality financial products and outstanding service, so receiving these accolades means a lot. It shows us that our members appreciate our efforts and it reinforces our commitment to strive to be the best we can be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In separate but related news last month, Coast Central also received the Reader\u2019s Choice awards from the Del Norte Triplicate, Best Financial Institution.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1950, Coast Central Credit Union is the largest locally based member-owned financial institution on the North Coast, with over \u00a065,000 members. It operates twelve member services branches throughout Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties, and provides access to a network of over 28,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide.
