Jenny Fonsen Named VP Risk and Compliance; Kathy Antongiovanni Appointed Senior AVP Compliance and Fraud to Enhance Security and Trust<\/span><\/i><\/h2>\n

Eureka, CA \u2013 March 26, 2025<\/i><\/b> \u2013 Coast Central Credit Union is excited to announce the creation of two new positions aimed at enhancing member protection and organizational resilience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jenny Fonsen has been named Vice President Risk and Compliance, bringing her expertise to oversee regulatory compliance, risk management and fraud prevention efforts. Supporting these initiatives, Kathy Antongiovanni will serve as Senior AVP Compliance and Fraud, focusing on proactive fraud detection and member education.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThese roles underscore our commitment to safeguarding our members and the credit union,\u201d said President and CEO Fred Moore. \u201cJenny\u2019s leadership and Kathy\u2019s specialized focus will help us stay ahead of evolving risks while maintaining trust and transparency with our members.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"With over 25 years of credit union experience \u2013 17 years with Coast Central Credit Union \u2013 Jenny has held multiple leadership positions and is certified in internal audits, credit union compliance and other financial services programs. Jenny is in her final year at Western Credit Union Management School and will graduate this summer. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, which includes outdoor activities such as camping, riding and kart racing.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Kathy began her career with Coast Central Credit Union as a member services representative 43 years ago. During her tenure, she has taken on numerous leadership roles, demonstrating a deep commitment to operational excellence, risk management and member service.<\/span> In her new role, she will continue to enhance the credit union\u2019s risk and compliance strategies, ensuring a strong foundation for continued growth. Kathy graduated from Western Credit Union Management School in 2011. Beyond her professional achievements, Kathy enjoys gardening and spending time at her summer home in Trinity Village.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
