(February 4, 2026) &#8211; <\/strong>After a comprehensive nationwide search, Coast Central Credit Union is proud to announce that Kenn Darling has accepted the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer.<\/p>\n<p>The search process included multiple rounds of interviews with both internal and external candidates and was highlighted by in-person discussions with executive leadership and lending teams. This approach ensured a strong bench of talent was considered while identifying the depth of senior-level lending experience and leadership needed to support the credit union\u2019s long-term strategic priorities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe approached this search thoughtfully and with intention, looking across the country for the right blend of experience, leadership, and cultural alignment,\u201d said President and CEO Fred Moore. \u201cKenn has more than 30 years of lending leadership and a genuine appreciation for the communities we serve. His track record, leadership style, and commitment to member success make him an outstanding addition to our executive team, and we\u2019re excited to welcome him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Darling\u2019s three decades of senior lending and credit leadership experience spans multiple organizations, serving as Chief Credit Officer at First Tech Federal Credit Union (Silicon Valley), Patelco Credit Union (Bay Area), and most recently, Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union in Palmer, Alaska.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kenn was drawn to Coast Central for its strong sense of community, something that resonates personally through his home in Newport, Oregon, and previous time spent in Humboldt County.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m truly grateful for the opportunity to join Coast Central,\u201d said Darling. \u201cThroughout the process, I was inspired by the passion, and expertise behind this organization. There is a clear mission here and a culture that genuinely puts members and community first.
