Bob Moore joins Coast Central Credit Union as Vice President, Member Loan Services\/Chief Credit Officer. In making this appointment, the credit union\u2019s President\/CEO Dean G. Christensen stated that, \u201cMoore comes to us with over twenty-five years of experience in Loan Services, a comprehensive knowledge of consumer and business lending, and has been committed to this community for his entire career. We are very pleased to welcome Bob to the team, and look forward to his contribution to the quality member service experience that is the trademark of Coast Central.\u201d<\/p>\n
Most recently from Umpqua Bank, where he was a Senior Vice President in their lending division, Moore also has worked for Humboldt Bank, US Bank and actually started his career with Coast Central Credit Union back in 1988. With a Master\u2019s level degree from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Humboldt State, combined with executive roles with local banking institutions, Moore has a solid background in strategic lending practices.<\/p>\n
Moore and his family reside in McKinleyville. He and his wife Roxanne are deeply involved in youth sports and supporting their community. Bob is an avid cyclist and runner, is a longtime Rotarian, supports local fundraising projects, and is active in local economic development efforts. \u201cHumboldt has always been our home, and I am excited to be part of the Coast Central team again, and look forward to serving our members throughout the tri-county community,\u201d stated Moore.<\/p>\n
In addition, Dean G. Christensen announced that Dean Charlton is retiring this month, after serving the credit union since he was appointed as Vice President, Member Loan Services in 1987. \u201cIn the past 26 years, \u201cDean has been a very important, hardworking and dedicated member of our team. He has contributed greatly to our many years of outstanding performance,\u201d he said. \u201cOn behalf of the credit union\u2019s volunteer Board of Directors, its Supervisory Committee, management and staff, I wish Dean and his wife, Leslie, all the best as they enter a new and exciting chapter in their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
